Mack Wiltcher passed away peacefully on June 30th, 2026 in Prescott, Arizona. Our heavenly Father took him home as he was saying his evening prayers.

Mack was born on September 29th, 1932 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. His family moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1947 when he was a sophomore. He attended Prescott High School, where he met the love of his life, Leola Scott. They married on December 27th, 1952 in Prescott.

Mack earned his electrical engineering degree at the University of Arizona, then worked for Arizona Public Services until retiring in 1991. He and Leola, with their four children, lived in Phoenix, Arizona until moving permanently to Prescott, Arizona.

Mack is preceded in death by his wife Leola. He is survived by his daughters Stephanie Wiltcher, Kathryn Wiltcher, Sandra Wiltcher Best (Kevin), and son Douglas Wiltcher (Terri). Grandchildren Ashley Suedekum (Brandon), Sidney Mathias (David), and Tazmon Sproul. Great grandchildren Blake, Sophia, and Emilia Suedekum and Lincoln Mathias.

He was very kind, loving, had a great sense of humor, and a bright, welcoming smile. He was always recognized by his jeans, suspenders, and cowboy hat. He knew no strangers, and was loved by all. We will all smile, remembering his big, warm hugs.

A visitation for Mack Wiltcher will be held at Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home on Friday July 17th, 2026 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.
