Mary Lou Berlin

Mary Lou Berlin, 98, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away surrounded by loved ones on October 20, 2025. Mary Lou was born on May 30, 1927, in Lexington, Nebraska, to Milo and Julia Allen. She loved digging in the dirt, planting beautiful flowers, sewing quilts, bowling, and traveling. After retiring, Mom and Dad settled in Cedaredge, Colorado. She loved the peaceful pace of life there, especially watching hummingbirds outside her window. Later, after moving to Prescott Valley, she found the same joy watching roadrunners. Mom loved the Arizona sunshine and would often say, “not a cloud in the sky”. I always think of her whenever the sky is clear. She is survived by her children, Cindy Barton, David Berlin, Steven Berlin, and Donna Berlin, 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Jones, and her brothers, Everett Allen and Kenneth Allen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life will be held in Oxford, Colorado, on May 30, 2026. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Aimee’s Arizona Angels for their exceptional care and kindness. They became a second family to Mary Lou, which brought us great comfort.
