IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Gary
Griffin
May 13, 1958 – February 28, 2026
Michael G. Griffin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle whose life was defined by love, loyalty, and quiet strength. He passed from this world on February 28, 2026 surrounded by the legacy of the family he cherished so deeply.
Michael was a man who paced his family above all else. As a husband, he shared 30 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Debbie Griffin. Together they build a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. Their love was a partnership rooted in commitment, respect, and enduring devotion.
As a father, Michael’s greatest pride was his children. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Adina Miller and her husband Ronnie Miller of Prescott Valley, AZ; his son Cory Griffin of Colorado Springs, CO; and his daughter Ezra Abernethy and her husband Scott Abernethy of Kingsland, GA. He led by example – teaching through kindness, hard work, patience, and integrity. His guidance and steady presence shaped their lives in countless ways, and his love for them was unconditional and constant.
Michael was a proud grandfather to seven treasured grandchildren: Abram, Jackson, Harper, McKenna, Hadlee, Jameson, and Huxlee. Nothing brought him more joy than hearing their laughter, sharing stories, and watching them grow. He delighted in each of their unique personalities and made sure they always knew how deeply they were loved.
He is also survived by his nephew, Shane Griffin of Denver, CO., who held a special place in his heart.
He is also survived by his brother Patrick Griffin of Idaho.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Barbara Griffin, and by his beloved grandson, Skylaar Griffin. Though their loss weighed heavily on his heart, he carried their memories with him always.
Those who knew Michael will remember his steady presence, his generous spirit, and the way he showed up –day after day—for the people he loved. His life was not measured in grand gestures, but in the countless small acts of devotion that made his family feel safe, supported, and deeply cared for.
His legacy lives on in the family he nurtured, the values he instilled, and the love that continues to bind them together. He will be profoundly missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
