Reverend Daryl Olds, C.M.F.

I was born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming. In 1972 I was baptized in the Presbyterian Church. In 1985 I had a very powerful experience of the real presence of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament while attending Mass with a friend. This experience changed my life and led me to enter the Catholic Church. Shortly after this experience, I joined the Claretian Missionaries and was ordained a priest in 1992. Since my ordination I have worked in parishes in California, Texas, and Arizona. For four years I was in charge of our Claretian Students who were preparing to become priests or brothers in our Congregation. While I was stationed at St. John’s Parish in San Marcos, Texas, I was also the Catholic Chaplin at Texas State University. Through the years, whenever I have had the opportunity, I love to do parish missions and retreats. As written by Fr. Daryl Olds
