Richard William Hartmann, born 11/30/39 in
Bronx, New York, passed away on 10/21/21. His
wife (Linda K Hartmann - 9/27/12) and his
youngest daughter (Annette Hartmann Wooten -
11/29/16) preceded him in death. He is survived
by his daughters Claudia Schapiro & Brandy
Neuharth, and their respective husbands, Rob &
Eddie. He leaves behind five grandchildren;
Brooke, Brandon, Dylan, Tyler, and Joshua; and,
several nieces and nephews. Richard served his
country in the Air Force during the Korean War
(1957-1961). Following his return home, he had a
long career in the city of San Bernardino, CA as a
heavy equipment mechanic. In 1994, he and
Linda retired to Prescott, AZ where he started a
second career with the city of Prescott from
which he retired in 2009. Richard was a
railroad/train enthusiast - He loved traveling by
train, and he built model trains and model
railroad scenery. He was a quiet man and loved
his family and “pups” dearly. He will be missed
by all who knew and loved him.
