Rodney M. Starin

Rodney “Rod” Max Starin was born to Fritz and Vicki Starin on September 11, 1950. Rod was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. He passed to his forever home on August 6, 2022, at the age of 71.

Rod is meeting in heaven his mother; father; sister, Winona; brother-in-law, Dean; nephew and best friend, Stacy. He is survived by the love of his life, Gloria, wife for 48 years; his two sons, Nathan and Dillon; and granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Samantha.

He was a native to Prescott AZ, attended Prescott High School graduating Class of 1969, and graduated from UTI in 1979 with a degree in Diesel Mechanics. Rod was a veteran stationed in Germany from 1970 to 1972. He then worked for E.J. Dickie Trucking for 20 years in Hillside, AZ. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and teaching his granddaughters all he knew about his hobbies and everything he learned through his walk-in life.
