Sally Mae Valerius

Sally Mae Sadler Valerius was born on March 1, 1940, in Reed City, Michigan, to Donna and Alfred Sadler. After moving to Mt. Morris, Michigan, she attended local schools and graduated in 1958. Sally went on to become a Registered Nurse after attending Hurley Hospital School of Nursing. In 1961, she married Wayne Valerius, and together they raised their family while she worked in obstetrics and the newborn nursery. Later, Sally pursued her love of antiques and home décor, opening a successful store in Valencia, California, which she and Wayne operated for 23 years. Upon retirement, they moved to Prescott, Arizona, where Sally was deeply involved in her church and community. She loved decorating, reading, knitting, and celebrating Christmas. Sally was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished faith, family, and creativity.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Brenda Grigsby (Dave); sons, Brad and Brent (Veronica); and her brother, Stephen Sadler (Linda). She was a proud grandmother to Hannah Grigsby, Brandon Valerius (Ashley), Andrea Meston (Jesse), and Brandon Valerius (Kaylee), and great-grandmother to Gianna Valerius, Jackson Valerius, and Kinley Almer.
