He was born 11/8/1919 in Brooklyn NY.10/25/1941 Served in the WWII Army #31045417 as a Staff Sergeant Medical Detachment 3rd Battalion 531st Engineer Shore Regiment. Operation Torch (initially called Operation Gymnast) 11/8/1942 was the British-American invasion of the French North African Campaign, Honorable Discharge.Ben and Margie Russo married 61 yrs, she passed away on 12/7/2005, he leaves behind his brother Sal, sisters Daisy, Nina, 3 grandchildren Debbie Grether, Maria Mazon, Robert Nelsonand 6 great grandchildren. Ben was a charming gentleman and loved Dancing with the ladies.
