Silvia Leon Guerrero

Silvia Leon Guerrero passed away peacefully in the early morning of July 28th, 2026 at the age of 85. She was in her home with her son and daughter. She was born on January 9th, 1941 to Guadalupe and Ismael Luna in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. She was raised in San Antonio, Texas and always called San Diego, California home. Silvia married Jose Leon Guerrero in 1970, and together they shared 49 loving years. Silvia enjoyed traveling, dining out, and spending time with loved ones. She is known for her kindness, her wit, sense of humor, and her steadfastness and determination. She was the pin that held her family together. She is survived by her son Gabriel Leon Guerrero, daughter, Cristina Leon Guerrero, sons Joseph Leon Guerrero, Jesse Robles, and John Leon Guerrero. A celebration of life will be held in San Diego, California at a time to be determined in the coming months.
