Stella Jean Bradeen, age 80, of Glendale, Arizona passed away peacefully on September 22 2026.

Born March 12 1946, Stella was the youngest of 3 children (George, Anna, Stella) of Georgia Boldorac (Popescu, Tintoi) (1912-1999)

and George Popescu (1910-1945). Stella resided in Prescott Valley, Arizona. After her husband Fred Bradeen passed in 2017, she relocated to Glendale, Arizona.

Stella was born in Chicago, Illinois. Graduate of Lake View High School, elevator operator at the downtown Prudential building in the 60s.

Teacher assistant at Blaine Elementary in the late 80s and early 90s. Stella loved cooking, reading, shopping and baking lots of cookies.

She also enjoyed visiting Hawaii and Sedona many times. More recently she enjoyed crocheting as well as decorating for Halloween and Christmas

and watching Youtube videos about haunted houses, foreign films, sewing and crafts.

She is survived by her children John Grotans of Colorado, George Grotans of Arizona, and Julie Slutsky of Arizona and

preceded in death by her cherished first-born daughter, Deborah, who passed away in 1983.

Stella is inurned at Prescott National Cemetery, 500 AZ-89 Arizona.
