Born on November 14, 1945, in New Found Land, Canada, Susannah lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Throughout her life, Susannah demonstrated a remarkable work ethic. She built a successful career that spanned retail sales and running a home daycare, showcasing her nurturing spirit and dedication to service. She was also the manager of a Chem-Dry carpet and upholstery business, where she earned the respect and admiration of both customers and colleagues for her professionalism and hard work.

A woman of many interests, Susannah delighted in cake decorating, a hobby that allowed her creativity and patience to shine. She enjoyed traveling by RV, taking cruises, and most treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and her loving and kind nature made her a constant source of support and comfort to all who knew her.

Susannah’s legacy is deeply felt by her surviving family, including her devoted husband, Roland Gilbert, her three children, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Those who had the privilege of knowing her remember a woman who was always ready to lend a helping hand, whose generosity was boundless, and whose spirit was unyielding.

Her educational journey concluded with high school, yet her wisdom and life experience extended far beyond any formal education. Susannah’s strength, compassion, and hard-working nature remain an enduring example to her family and community.

Services honoring Susannah’s life will begin with a Memorial Service at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 3950 North Valorie Drive in Prescott Valley, Arizona, on May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
