Terry Dean Messer

December 26th, 1957-June 14th, 2025

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Terry Dean Messer. Terry suddenly passed in his home in Cornville, AZ on June 14th, 2025, at the age of 67. Terry was born in Waukegan, Illinois to Virgil and Mary Messer on December 26th,1957. Part of Terry’s childhood was in Spokane, WA until the family moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in the late 1960’s. After graduating from Lake Havasu High School in 1976, Terry often worked in Spokane, WA in the spring and summer with his brother, and then traveled back to Lake Havasu in the fall and winter where he worked with his brother-in law. Terry was in the painting, construction, and framing business for two decades before becoming a professional car detailer.

He loved to work with his hands, play guitar and harmonica, and he had always had a love of cars since high school, owning both a Plymouth Road Runner and later, a Ford GT Mustang. Terry was also an avid dirt bike racer in his younger years. He was known for being very active, once retiring, which did not last, as well as his sense of humor. Terry is survived by daughter, Moriah Ann, and his four siblings, Micheal, Connie, Linda, and Diane and many nephews and nieces. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Virgil as well as nephews, Micheal and Shane.

Terry enjoyed fellowship with others in his love of Christ and his faith was steadfast always putting it first. Terry would often remark that he did not fear death but welcomed the thought of being with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
