Tim Eugene Williams September 28, 1957 to October 10, 2025 Tim Williams, 68, of Prescott Valley, Arizona passed away quietly on October 10 with his mother, Patsy by his side. Tim was born September 28, 1957 in Springfield Missouri to Gerry and Patsy Williams of Ava, Missouri. When Tim was just 7 years old, his mother and father moved first to Gilbert, Arizona, then on to Prescott and Prescott Valley. Tim graduated from Gilbert High School in 1975 then joined the Navy. Tim rose to the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class before leaving the forces to work in private industry contracted with the Navy. Tim’s Navy life took him all over the world. He finished up his career in San Diego. In 2017, Tim’s father passed away and Tim, now retired, relocated to Prescott Valley to care for his mother.
Tim has always had a passion for motorcycles, hot rods, and pretty much anything with wheels. Tim, like his father, was a well known mechanic who could pretty much build anything. Tim built several cars from kits and upgraded many others. His involvement with the Prescott Valley ROMEO’s group always found him around other like minded automobile buffs. He loved to camp out, drive his vehicles to far off places like Sturges, and to just cruise open roads. His stature, stocky, a long beard and a full leather outfit was intimidating to many. But those who knew him, saw “Wild Willy” for who he was, just a soft Teddy Bear.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Gerry Williams, an infant brother Christopher. Tim is survived by his mother, Patsy Williams, brother Richard Williams, Rich’s wife Tammie of Crawfordville, Florida, niece Stephanie and nephew Robby, uncles, aunts, and a slew of “insane cousins”. Tim will be missed particularly by the cousins as he was an active member and participant in their “insane cousins” gatherings.
Tim’s favorite local hang out, Tailgaters in Prescott Valley, will be hosting a “Celebration of Life” at their location on November 7. All who knew Tim are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any number of Veterans organizations would be in line with Tim’s wishes.
