Tracie Lynn Janke

Tracie Lynn Janke was given her wings on January 15, 2015. She was born March 19, 1963 to Mary and Michael Burke. Tracie spent her childhood surrounded by a large close family. She hiked her family’s ranchland, with her baby sister, Debbie, following close behind. She spent endless hours camping, swimming and sledding through the snow. She even spent a few years driving her muscle car and racing through mud bogs. Tracie met the love of her life, Coury, and together God gave them a precious gift, their daughter Shelby. Tracie and Shelby were inseparable for seventeen short but remarkable years. Their lives were spent living, loving, laughing and raising every pet a person can imagine, earning Tracie the nickname of, “Doctor Dolittle”. Much of Tracie’s work kept her surrounded by animals, such as Humane Society’s and veterinary clinics. It was not unusual to pass by her home and witness a horse’s behind peaking outside her front door while saying good morning to the family. Tracie has left behind so many who will miss her and who will continue to converse with her until souls reunite. Tracie is survived by her soul-mate Coury McCully, her daughter Shelby McCully of Paulden, AZ, her sister Debbie Burke of Phoenix, AZ, her father Michael Burke of Parker, AZ, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Sibley, and numerous family members who gathered to greet her in heaven.
