Virginia Jenness Millett Apodaca

Virginia Jenness Millett Apodaca, 90, passed away May 21, 2013. She was born April 27, 1923 in Palmyra, ME, the daughter of Obed & Gerda (Weeks) Millett. Mrs. Apodaca was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy (WAVES). She was married to Henry Apodaca of Los Angeles, CA, and worked for many years as a deputy clerk in the Los Angeles County Court system, retiring in 1985. She is survived by her 2 daughters Christine Slayden of North Pole, AK and Dr. Karen Apodaca MD of Clarkdale, AZ; her son Paul Apodaca of Bermuda Dunes, CA; one brother Thomas Millett of Glendora, CA; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Virginia will be remembered in Maine as a member of the Waves National-Maine Unit #41. After moving to Prescott, Arizona, she performed volunteer work at the Veteran Administration Medical Center. Virginia passed away in Clarkdale, AZ after a short illness.
