Walter Neil Brake

Walter Neil Brake was born August 24, 1946, to Wlater and Helen Brake in Winslow, Arizona, and spent most of his childhood there.  He graduated from Winslow High and joined the Army.  In 1966 he married Jennifer Gaston.  They had four children together. 

After serving in the Army, he went to MCC and ASU and received a Bachelor of Education.   He taught industrial art classes to junior high and high school students.  After teaching he worked construction, facility management, and mechanical engineering for electronic companies, Motay and Unysis.  He retired in 2005 filling his days with woodworking, fishing, gardening and became Mr. Fixer to his grandchildren He was a jack of all trades. 

He is survived by his wife Jennifer, four children and their spouses, Lynde & Jared Egolf, Elena & Robert Diaz Gonzalez, Brian & Shantal Brake, and Walter & Danielle Brake, 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and his sister Linda Warburton.  He's proceeded in death by both his parents and three brothers.
