Walter Kenneth Brock was born and raised in Brooklyn,
New York, where he spent his formative years with his
admiring younger brother, and his adoring mother.
From an early age, Walter displayed a strength of
character, a keen sense of responsibility, and a natural
leadership quality that would serve him well
throughout his life.
It was during his childhood that he developed his
lifelong love of the game of baseball, thanks to his
beloved neighborhood team, the legendary Brooklyn
Dodgers. During his teen years, Walter discovered his
affinity for marksmanship, that would later become an
enduring passion for both target shooting and game
hunting.
As an adult, Walter immersed himself in the world of
ight and aeronautics, becoming an accomplished
pilot along the way. In business, Walter found great
success in the corporate printing world of New York
City, where he built an impressive career, and made
many close friends. He nurtured his love for the
outdoors by spending weekends at his rural home in
upstate New York, where he also adopted and raised
his prized wild cat, Misty. Later in his life, Walter was
introduced to Joan Capozzoli (Tantillo) who would
become his devoted wife and the love of his life. They
would eventually retire and settle in Prescott, Arizona,
where they built their dream home, and spent
memorable holidays and gatherings with friends and
family.
Walter experienced some of the greatest joys of his life
in Prescott; from his early activity in the softball league,
to lunches with the “hockey crew,” and seasonal
hunting with close friends. He was an engaged and
supportive Grandfather to his grandsons Leo and
Rocco; keeping up with countless FaceTime calls,
watching endless hours of The Three Stooges, making
laughter-lled memories playing bingo, Pictionary,
blackjack, & poker, and teaching them patience and
persistence through the ne art of shing. Walter also
made an eternal impact on the lives of his dear
nephews, taking great pride in all of their
accomplishments and their patriotism.
Walter will always be remembered as a loyal friend, a
dedicated husband, and a loving stepfather,
grandfather, and uncle. He is survived by his
stepchildren; Christopher Tantillo, James Tantillo & wife
Linda Tantillo, John Tantillo & wife Megan Tantillo, his
grandchildren; Isaac Koizume, Leonardo Tantillo &
Rocco Tantillo, and nephews; Michael Brock & wife
Aryanna Brock, Robert Brock, and his grand nieces;
Adelina Brock, and McKenna Brock.
