The History of Todd Noecker C.F.S.P. and Melinda Noecker owners of Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Homes and Cremation Services comes from a long line of Funeral Professionals. Todd Noecker has followed in the Footsteps of his great-great-great grandfather; great-great grandfather; great grandfather and father, all whom were dedicated Funeral Professionals. Todd grew up in Gillette Wyoming and attended the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1987 and then returning to own the family funeral home in Wyoming and serving as Deputy County Coroner until 1995 when he sold and moved to Arizona.

Melinda started in the Funeral Profession in San Bernandino California as a receptionist and bookkeeper and a licensed Cosmetologist. Melinda and Todd met working together in the Funeral Profession and in July of 2007 were married. Their passion for the profession and love of Prescott had them return to Arizona in 2016 to continue the Heritage of Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Homes as the Oldest Funeral Home in Arizona and the longest continuous business in Prescott.

New Beginnings Foundation is financially supported by the Noecker Family Funeral Homes Ruffner-Wakelin Prescott Chapel and Ruffner-Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel as a community outreach program and as a continuum of service to the families our firms serve.

New Beginnings Foundation is dedicated to offering support to the recently bereaved through groups, a lending library, Hospice training, and by sponsoring the Annual National Hospice Bereavement Teleconference every April. New Beginnings is further dedicated to raising public awareness to the needs of the bereaved by providing programs and speakers for professional groups, service clubs, churches, and the general public.
